Downtown Barbers is looking to expand its barber team. We are looking for a person who is skilled in cutting hair and providing all barber related services including straight razor shaves. Someone who is willing to put customers first and be a helpful member of the shop team. They must have an active State of Illinois Barber License. Unlicensed barbers will not be considered. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of barbering and be open to building new business as well as manage their current clientele.
Downtown Barbers is an established and continually growing barber shop located in downtown Rockford Illinois. We pride ourselves in maintaining a loyal and diverse clientele. Our reputation of delivering top-notch grooming services has helped us build a strong customer base. We are forced to turn away business daily because we cannot serve every customer that inquires. The shop is ready to add a team member or 2 at this point point. Barbers will have an opportunity to grow with the shop. All barbers at Downtown Barbers are independent contractors and pay chair rent and each teammate helps with general sanitation and daily upkeep of the shop appearance. Barbers provide their own tools and will be required to maintain a professional appearance.
